Anger and Reconciliation

In week six of A Beautiful Kingdom, our series teaching through the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Orlando Cabrera teaches from Matthew 5:21-26. Jesus goes beyond “do not murder” to the heart of the law, warning that unrighteous anger and cutting words are murder at the heart level. Orlando also shows that not all anger is wrong. Holy anger at sin and brokenness can fuel real change. Kingdom citizens forsake the world’s anger and pursue reconciliation with urgency, becoming living monuments of the reconciling love Jesus showed us on the cross.
