SERVE OUR SCHOOLS

Each year, we have the God-given opportunity to serve the schools and students within our Circles of Accountability (COA) by providing uniforms, backpacks and school supplies.  Please join us in multiplying our gospel influence as we tangibly represent the love of Christ to our partner schools and the students in our communities. Not only does this simple act of love imitate Christ's generosity, but it also provides us with opportunities to proclaim the message of the gospel through a variety of ways as we build relationships with the administrations and teachers.

To participate, simple pick up a supply list from the table at your campus this weekend! Thank you!

SUMMER SERIES - LOVE ONE ANOTHER

What distinguishes Christian community from other relationships? The way we love, encourage and care for each other is a reflection of the way that Jesus ministers to us. In our Summer series, Love One Another, we’ll look to the words of Scripture, and ask the Lord to strengthen our community as He empowers us to love one another, and reflect His love to a watching world.

REGISTRATION FOR CAMP WILL OPEN ON APRIL 8TH!

New this year: Choose your week! (Both camps are identical)

WHEN: June 11th-15th or June 18th - 22nd  |  9am-12:45pm

WHERE: University Campus - 19601 Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy - Fort Myers, FL 33913

WHO: For kids who will be entering grades K - 6th for 2018/2019 year. 

COST: $50 Per child

Each day consists of sports, large-group rallies, huddle groups and snacks. There are multiple sports to choose from and campers participate in one sport for the entire camp.

Good Friday 2018

Join us for a unique walk-through experience as we remember Good Friday together. This special event will be held at our University Campus, upstairs in the Sanctuary. There will be opportunities to reflect on the blood of Christ through visuals, activities, scripture, art, communion, worship and more. It's our hope that this evening would stir your affections for Christ and bring you greater understanding into all that His blood accomplishes for us. It should take approximately 30 minutes to complete the experience although you are encouraged to take as much time as you like.

TIMES:
Friday Evening (3/30): Doors open at 4pm and will close at 9pm.

Although not required, we encourage you to register for a time slot to reduce your wait time; especially families with kids. Childcare will be provided for infants through pre-kindergarten.

Women's Ministry

Join us for another semester of Women's Ministry at either our University Campus on Thursday mornings or our Naples Campus on Thursday evenings!

Details: This semester we'll look at what the Bible says about fearing the Lord and how it draws us into deeper intimacy with God and impacts our daily lives.

Summit Students Camp

This year Summit Student Ministries is excited to present a whole new retreat: WAKE. Each student is on their own unique walk with Jesus and WAKE seeks to minister to students right where they are at. 

This year there will be a specific emphasis on small groups. Each small group will spend the night in a host home. This is where they will form special bonds and learn to walk more deeply with Jesus. On Friday night and Satuday night all the small groups will meet at the Gateway campus for worship and Bible teaching.

Furthermore, every student will have the oppurtunity to have a huge amount of fun. We will be taking part in laser tag, group competitions, and a final trip to the beach on Sunday morning. WAKE is going to be a blast as well as a life-changing experience!

Q: Hi Amy, thanks for sharing with us. Can you tell us where have you been doing recovery work? 
Amy: I have been going to Bonita and helping to clean up some 55+ communities. Specifically I have been to the Citrus Park Community and the Imperial Bonita Estates.

Q: What's it like there in those communities? 
It is hard to process what it is like. It is hard to imagine while driving around Fort Myers/Estero that a short 10 minute drive south has such sadness and destruction. The amount of trash (pieces of houses, pieces of trees, road signs, furniture, etc.), the smell and the piles of already collected and cleaned items is overwhelming at times. 

Q: What needs are you seeing? 
The greatest needs are moving large pieces of debris (both yard and house) to piles along the roads. The more people that come out and help the more we can serve and provide. Many of the residents have not yet returned because they cannot move items or clean items to even get into their homes. 

Q: What sorts of things have you and the team been doing to help meet those needs? 
I have been moving furniture, clearing debris, talking with the people who live in the community, and I have even had the opportunity to pray with them!

Q: What's one thing you would want people to know about? 
You are needed! Many times I don't do something because I have the idea in my head that there are plenty of people who will show up to volunteer, so it won't make a difference if I am there or not. That is absolutely not true! Those communities need as many people to help as possible. They need to come in contact with people who are there representing and being the Church. They need to be prayed with, listened to, and cared for. The more people representing Christ by volunteering, the more He is glorified! 
 

Q: What's been the reaction of the community to the volunteers? 
Every person who walks by or drives by (in their golf cart) stops and talks with us or thanks us. They are so grateful every time they see one of the volunteers. 
 

Q: How can we pray for these folks in our community who are experiencing such hurt?
That people see Jesus in it. That they don't give up, that they don't feel complete despair, that they don't think they are all alone in the recovery - but that they realize that we the Church are here for them, and most importantly that Jesus loves and cares for them.

Naples Location Change

Because Regal Cinemas sustained significant damage from Hurricane Irma, we are planning to meet at our multi-purpose facility (located at 2575 Northbrooke Plaza Dr. #300 Naples, FL 34119) for the next few weeks and don't expect to go back to Regal.

While we don’t have a final ‘move in’ date from Barron Collier High School, we’re excited to return to a newly renovated facility this fall!

We’re so thankful for you and for your understanding during this period of transition. We’re confident in all of this that God is good and that He has great plans for His church in this community. Thank you for carrying out the mission with us to make disciples that represent the gospel to every man, woman and child!
