Bound for Freedom

Exodus 21 is one of the hardest passages to preach — a law about slavery, right after the Ten Commandments. This message unpacks how biblical servitude was radically different from the slavery of Egypt or American history: voluntary, temporary, and designed to protect the vulnerable, not exploit them. But it also points somewhere greater. True freedom, this message argues, isn't found in autonomy: it's found in surrender to King Jesus.
