Introducing Global Fellowship

After decades of envisioning, strategic planning, and development, Global Fellowship is fast becoming a dynamic empowerment for many national movements of God in pivotal geographic locations. Launched globally last fall, leading pastors from across the US are joining together to come alongside indigenous pastors in other parts of the world to form significant partnerships. Their purpose is to work in unity to impact entire countries (every man, woman, and child), with the gospel of Jesus Christ. For more information regarding Global Fellowship click here.

Below is a brief interview with Dwight Smith of Global Fellowship conducted by Amy Tartick from The Chapel in Buffalo, NY.

It Was Haiti's Darkest Hour

In a instant 300,000 lives were lost and all lives were changed by the earthquake that shook Haiti to its very core two years ago today. Now, two years later, God has taken the darkness of January 12, 2010 and is shining new hope on Haiti.  In the days after the earthquake Mission of Hope promised to serve the people of Haiti We praise God that in 2011 we had our biggest year to date!

Uganda - The Home of Champions Orphanage

I know 116 children who live at The Home of Champions Orphanage in Nabukalu, Uganda.  I know their faces, smiles and hugs.  I have seen how they worship the Lord.  These children have hardly anything, but, in Jesus Christ, they have absolutely everything.

Nabukalu is located in East Africa.  The people farm and raise animals on small acres of land for survival.  But, because of HIV, AIDS, polygamy, domestic violence, and food shortage, many children in this area are forced to take care of themselves for food, shelter, clothing and education.

James 1:27 says, “Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”

City Talks

For three days, from May 2-4, 11 churches/ministries from around our nation will gather at Summit Church to discuss how we are working to see every man, woman and child in our regions/cities have a repeated opportunity to see, hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each of the leaders represented are not only leaders of a church but each has a vision to lead a larger movement to mobilize the Church within their geographies to saturate their region with the gospel.

MOH 500

In June 2010, Mission of Hope began a project called MOH 500. The goal is to build 500 homes for families in the next two years. The homes will be given to families that lost their homes during the massive earthquake that struct Haiti in January of 2010. This project is of upmost importance as many families in Haiti are currently still living in tents or temporary shelters. Last month Summit Church sent a team to Haiti, led by our Community Pastor David Gold, to begin installing roofs on the fist of these homes to be completed.
