Women’s Bible study
Women's Bible study meets Thursday mornings from 9:30am - 11:30am downstairs in the Multipurpose Room. This group is for women of all ages.
On Thursday, March 16th, we will begin a new 8 week series; All Things New, A workbook Study On 2 Corinthians. Over 8 sessions, Kelly Minter will lead us through the Letter of 2 Corinthians, exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come. Workbooks available at the study for $15.
Thank you for helping us prepare by registering for this study.
Also, childcare is available, but please make sure to register your child so we can plan a safe and loving environment.
For more information, please email Stephanie Neis at email@example.com.
child dedication Dinner
Child Dedication is an amazing thing that we see in the scriptures and love to do with our families! Our Parent Dinner is an important step in the process. You are encouraged to invite 4-6 of your closest friends and/or family to this dinner and prayer service. You will have a “family table” filled with guests of your choice. Childcare is provided for you and your guests.
First Step (Pre-Baptism Class)
First Step is a fun and engaging class for K-5th grade children:
-That are already saved and want to be baptized.
-That are already saved, baptized, and want to grow deeper in the Lord.
Please note, parents are required to attend this class with their children.
At Summit Church we practice covenant membership. A covenant is a formal agreement between two or more parties. In covenant membership, the church and the individual link arms, to live as light in the midst of a dark world. In this relationship, the church member is cared for, protected, and commissioned by the church. In turn, the church body is strengthened by its members who embrace and live out the mission of the church.
Church membership is a declaration to the world of what it looks like for individuals to live faithfully in the midst of a Gospel-centered community, and what it looks like for a Gospel-centered community to care faithfully for each individual.
Join us for our next Connecting Point Dinner. It will be an evening of learning more about Summit Church, meeting some staff, and having fellowship with other newer folks to the church!
Child care will be provided at the church building. We look forward to having you!
