Welcome to our website.

This site was created and designed to give you an understanding of who Summit Church is. We are a Christian evangelical church that has been serving Southwest Florida since September of 2003. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist denomination and partner with many other denominations and churches to serve and impact our community. We offer several intentional ministry environments, all created to enrich your spiritual, personal and family life.

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ sacrificially died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sin of mankind and lead us into eternal life. Summit Church is a gospel-centered, Spirit led community who seeks to faithfully live the purposes of Christ. The mission of the Church is found in the mission of God who is calling us to passionately participate in His mission to redeem the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the heart of the scriptures and the heart of God, which must be kept in the fore front of every Christians life. It is the power of the Church. The Gospel changes people and changed people impact their home, office, community, city and world.

Weekend Gatherings

Summit Church is one church in two locations, which gather in South Fort Myers and Naples. We have a non-traditional ministry context and progressive band-driven music style, with a casual feel that anyone would feel welcomed in. All of our worship gatherings are identical and last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes and is a relevant and engaging environment. For service times and locations click here.

Kids

At Big Enuf, safe and nurturing programming is provided for children from birth through age four and is during each of our services. At KidZone, kids from Kindergarten through Grade 5 will experience both a small group setting as well as a large worship and learning experience. We take security seriously. Each child must be registered before entering our environments and parents must have proof of registration in order to pick-up their child after each service. Student Ministries

Crave and Reality, our high school and middle school ministries, seek to give every student an opportunity to experience a growing friendship with Jesus Christ, develop a genuine love for others, and be equipped to serve in ministry. Our student ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30PM at our University Campus.

Our college ministry, Ignite, meets on Tuesday nights at 8PM at our University Campus. Ignite is for any and all college-aged students. You do not need to be a student at FGCU, or any other school to attend, all college-aged folks are invited. Beyond the student gathering on Tuesday nights, Ignite is engaged at the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University, providing opportunities for our students to live missionally because we desire to be a group of people that have an eternal impact on the campus of FGCU and the surrounding community.
