Fast Forward

Every month we are asking everyone who calls Summit Church their home to join our staff as we reserve a day for fasting and prayer.  We believe that God desires to do much more in and through our church and we know that as we seek the Lord in prayer and in fasting He will move us "forward."

Below are the Points of Focus for the month of April.

Points of Focus...

#1.  Spend time praying for yourself.  Ask God to reveal any unconfessed sin.  Pray that God would continue to fuel your passion for Him.  Pray that God would continue to give you the discipline to pursue Him and spend time with Him in the Word and in prayer.

#2.  Pray for our community, specifically for those who do not know Christ.  Pray that God would continue to draw those who do not know Him into a loving relationship with Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.

#3.  Pray for the Body of Christ as a whole at Summit.  Pray that God would continue to strengthen, lead and provide for families and individuals.  Pray that there would be a fresh spiritual renewal that flows from God through the power of His Spirit into the hearts and lives of God’s people at Summit.

#4.  Pray for our mission partnerships and missionaries around the world.  Pray that God would work in mighty ways in and through these different organizations that are striving to bring the Gospel to every man, woman and child.

#5. Pray for our age appropriate ministries, Big Enuf, Kid Zone, our Summit Student Ministries and Ignite.  Pray that God would increase the faith our students and move mightily through their lives.  Pray for all of our volunteers that serve faithfully in these areas of ministry.  Pray that God would stir in the hearts of more people to get involved and serve.

#6. Pray for our Easter services at all three of our campuses.  Pray that God would draw people to these services and more importantly pray that those who attend who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior would respond to the Gospel.  Pray that God would move mightily in and through each of our services and that His name would be exalted high.
